For example, if you pack your own lunch each day or pack lunches for other family members, you can save time and money by buying large packages of food and dividing everything up into individual portions. Instead of buying individually packaged bags of potato chips, buy a big bag of pretzels and divide them up into sandwich bags. Then, put the individual serving bags in a canister or basket in the kitchen so you can grab them quickly when packing lunches.
