WHAT IS DIABETES?
Diabetes occurs when the pancreas is no longer able to make insulin, or when the body cannot make good use of the insulin it produces.Diabetes is sometimes referred to as an invisible disease. This is because many of the signs that indicate diabetes are not rare or alarming symptoms at first glance. A person can also live with the disease for years without a clear diagnosis. So it's important to be aware of the signs that can indicate diabetes and see a healthcare provider in time.
Symptoms of diabetes:
If you have any of the following diabetes symptoms, take a blood glucose test:
Frequent urination (pee), often at night
they are very thirsty
Lose weight without trying
they are very hungry
Having blurred vision
Having numb or tingling hands or feet
i feel very tired
Having very dry skin
Having ulcers that heal slowly
You have more infections than usual.
There are some things that you can change to reduces the risk of diabetes.
Lose extra weight ...
Be more physically active.
Eat healthy plant foods.
Eat healthy fats.
